When opening the case you should not force the top half beyond 90 degrees or the hinges are likely to break - this is what earns this item the one star for 'durability'. <br /> <br />The front is locked with 2 rather loose green plastic clamps. You must be careful when closing the case or they may end up inside the plastic handle instead of outside and they could bend or break. <br /> <br />My advice: you may be better off with a generic (zippered) 8"x10" case for your Tag Reader and its books. Paid $17 for it, but thought it was worth it because it looked like it contained the Ozzie & Mack book inside it. Misleading packaging! Have to read the fine print to see it doesn't include a book with it and we paid $17 for a plastic case. Feel ripped off, but I'm sure the case will come in handy, but it was definitely overpriced.
